Rice cooker soft and moist cheese cake..

When I open my curtain this morning, I could not see the bright sun shine like I used to see several days before. It is somehow made my spirit down. The cloud seems hypnotize me to go back on my bed. But, well, the life must go on.
I need warming up to start my day. Just guess what supposed to be my warming up today? Yup, you a right. Of course my kitchen, my stove, my oven, my mixer.. But, today I wanna something simple. I want to make a cake with only available ingredients on my refrigerator. I do not want to buy something else. And what I have is third quarter pack of cream cheese about 200 gram. Okay, then I will make a cheese cake, in a simple way. 
Usually, I bake a cheese cake using bain marie or water bath method. That need two brass, the bigger one for water and the smaller one for the dough. It is quite complicated for sleepy eyes like what I have this morning.
So, I will try to use my rice cooker. I think, it does not matter if it will be a messy cheese cake since the only my customer today is me. :D

Ingredients:
2 eggs, separate the yolk and white.
100 gram sugar
100 gram all purpose flour
150 ml milk
50 ml shimmer butter
2 teaspoon lemon
200 gram cheesecake

Direction:
1. Mixing sugar and white eggs using slow speed, then add the lemon water, increase the speed. Mixing until fluffy and stuffy.
2. In other bowl, mixing well the yolk with milk and butter. Add cheese cake and mix well. Add the flour, mix.
3. Add the dough of cheese cream into white egg use reverse and stir method until well combined. 
4. Put in on rice cooker. Cook.
5. It is done for about 20 minutes. 
6. Put the cake on a plate or bowl, wrapped it using plastic wrapped and put in on refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
7. Your delicious and moist cheese cake ready to serve.

colorful cake

For almost all student, the last semester will be the most hectic time all of their study time. I do. My thesis trap me from any outside interest. I should sacrifice my sleeping time, my shopping time, my lazy time, my work time, but not my cooking and baking time.

Why not? sure, because when I get bored by staring my project on the notebook, I need some refreshing that allow me to be creative. By doing so, I draw an imagination, combine with the available ingredients on my kitchen, and also the equipment I have.

To be honest, I was imagine a beautiful rainbow cake. Layer by layer on different color seems so gorgeous. But, I did a mistake in the procedures. Thus this quite messy colorful cake has produced.

Here my recipe.
Ingredients:
2 eggs, room temperate
145 gram all purpose flour
140 gram sugar
100 ml canola oil
150 ml milk
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp lemon
a pinch of salt
green and red food color.

Direction:
1. Prepare the oven, warming it 100 degree Celsius.
2.Mix eggs, sugar and lemon water in a bowl with high speed until ribbon stage. To make it quicker, usually I put my mixing bowl on the large pan that content of warm water. The warm temperature will help the eggs to well develop.
3.  Add the oil on the dough, and mix well using a spatula.
4. Sifter the flour, baking powder and salt directly on the dough, thus mix well.
5. Add the milk on the dough, mix well.
6. Take third of the dough, put it on the separate bowl, add green color.  mix well, thus put on the prepared brass. Oven in for 10 minutes.
7. Take another third of dough, combine red and green color on this part. After 10 minutes the first bake, pour the second third on the dough and oven again for 10 minutes. When take the brass from the oven, we should make it quickly. Otherwise, the cake will not well developed.
8. Add the red color on the last third of dough, and pour it on top of the cake. Bake again for 30 minutes.
9. Test the ripe of the cake using a toothpick. When it well cooked, turn of the oven. Let it the cake for 10 minutes on the brass to be loose.
10. Wrapped the cake using a plastic, and put it on freezer for 20 minutes. This is for produce a moist cake. And let's enjoy the cake.
